Alexandre Arnault and Louis Vuitton manager Anthony Ledru appointed to lead Tiffany under LVMH
Louis Vuitton vice president of global commercial activities Anthony Ledru has been named Tiffany’s new chief executive, replacing Alessandro Bogliolo, who will depart later in January. The move is part of a wider executive shakeup, which has also seen Rimowa head Alexandre Arnault brought on as executive vice president of product and communications, and Louis Vuitton chief Michael Burke appointed chairman of the Tiffany Board. Chief artistic director Reed Krakoff and chief brand officer Daniella Vitale will both step down from their roles.
Teen Vogue’s Lindsay Peoples Wagner named editor in chief of The Cut
The youngest leader of a Condé Nast title is returning to New York Magazine, where she was fashion market editor before leaving to become editor in chief of Teen Vogue in 2018. She succeeds Stella Bugbee, who is transitioning to an editor-at-large role developing a podcast for the magazine, among other special projects.
Macy’s names chief merchandising officer
Nata Dvir, currently Macy’s senior vice president and general business manager for Beauty and Center Core merchandise, will assume the role February 1. Dvir will report to Macy’s chairman and chief executive Jeff Gennette and succeeds Patti Ongman, who will retire at the end of the 2020 fiscal year.
Rimowa appoints new CEO as Alexandre Arnault joins Tiffany
Hugues Bonnet-Masimbert, previously Rimowa’s executive vice president, sales and client operations, will assume the role of chairman and chief executive of the LVMH-owned luggage brand. He succeeds Alexandre Arnault, who today was appointed executive vice president of product and communications at Tiffany following the completion of the jeweller’s acquisition by LVMH. Arnault remains non-executive chairman of Rimowa.
SMCP names Patricia Huyghues Despointes CFO
She joins the Sandro parent from LVMH Group after over 15 years at the luxury conglomerate, most recently serving as chief financial officer of Givenchy. Huyghues Despointes’ predecessor, Philippe Gautier, who also held SMCP’s operations director role, departed the company in October.
