Cardi told the news outlet that ‘I’m such an ambitious person. I feel that I lost so much. Now that I am winning, it is a very addicting feeling. Of course, as mentioned before, this mindset she struggles with is a result of the rapper being very hard on herself.

The star explained that ‘I’m hard on my entire team. We do not focus on no one else, we’re just focusing on our last — last music video, the last collab, we always compare it to our latest best. We want to do better and better. When I do something positive and I see my things selling out or my records doing pretty good, I get a crazy rush of happiness, but then it is this rush of overwhelmingness that makes me want more [and] more.’
